Regarding
BOH/Education space, it has not yet been confirmed that we can go back to
gridline B3, as indicated in the sketch plans.
We are aware this
would greatly simplify the structure design, however this implies a
considerable reduction of program area which has not been approved for the
moment. Therefore, we are still assuming a 15m width bay for these levels,
arriving to gridline B3/B4.
-Would
Option 2 still be viable with the 15m layout? Option 1 seems unlikely.
-Would it be possible to
avoid the columns at B1,Bb which are landing on the bridge linkJFOH of PS2 and
PS4 levels?

have studied the impact of removing the hung columns and bracing structure to
support the back of house area on the Western side of Building B. We understand
the back of house/education space has moved back to grid B3 above PS2 which has
significantly helped in removing the bracing members and simplifying the
design.

and transfer structures.

Please
find attached your latest sketch SK-0036 Rev 2 with a few markups.
Regarding
BOH/Education space, it has not yet been confirmed that we can go back to
gridline B3, as indicated in the sketch plans.
We are aware this
would greatly simplify the structure design, however this implies a
considerable reduction of program area which has not been approved for the
moment. Therefore, we are still assuming a 15m width bay for these levels,
arriving to gridline B3/B4.
-Would
Option 2 still be viable with the 15m layout? Option 1 seems unlikely.
-Would it be possible to
avoid the columns at B1,Bb which are landing on the bridge link/FOH of PS2 and
PS4 levels?

We
have studied the impact of removing the hung columns and bracing structure to
support the back of house area on the Western side of Building B. We understand
the back of house/education space has moved back to grid B3 above PS2 which has
significantly helped in removing the bracing members and simplifying the
design.
Please
see attached sketch SK-0036 Rev 2 which shows some options for this BOH area
and transfer structures.
