Hello all,

Please see attached the two workbooks we presented in today's meeting.
Could the Arup team also share the document discussed today?

Lastly, I guess INSW will send some actions, but we would greatly appreciate Arup's input on the Powerlab vierendeel truss dimensions and implications, to help us revise our studies (our optimistic assumption can be found in the PS7 booklet attached).

Hi Peter, Josh and Miguel,

Yesterday in reviewing the developing landscape design yesterday the loading capacity to the

northern terrace/ undercroft was discussed.

We are seeking structural advise to understand what the capacity would be to inform the PH to the

operations that it could support.

Josh, we are also seeking advice on the ability for vehicles to be accommodated on the terrace.

We were hoping to arrange a working session for early next week - Could you please advise if you have time next Monday?

Thanks,

Hi Zoe, George, Kengo,

Please find attached your latest sketch SK-0036 Rev 2 with a few markups.

Regarding BOH/Education space, it has not yet been confirmed that we can go back to gridline B3, as indicated in the sketch plans.

We are aware this would greatly simplify the structure design, however this implies a considerable reduction of program area which has not been approved for the moment. Therefore, we are still assuming a 15m width bay for these levels, arriving to gridline B3/B4.

-Would Option 2 still be viable with the 15m layout? Option 1 seems unlikely.

-Would it be possible to avoid the columns at B1,Bb which are landing on the bridge linkJFOH of PS2 and

PS4 levels?

Thank you in advance for your feedback,
Kind regards,

We have studied the impact of removing the hung columns and bracing structure to support the back of house area on the Western side of Building B. We understand the back of house/education space has moved back to grid B3 above PS2 which has significantly helped in removing the bracing members and simplifying the design.

Please see attached sketch SK-0036 Rev 2 which shows some options for this BOH area and transfer structures.

If there are any questions please let me know.

Following our conversation last week — if we were to locate the plant over the powerlab kitchen what is the clear height that you would require?

We are completing an exercise of reconciling clear height reductions across the building and in assessing PS7 this will assist.

Please let me know where you are at with this.

I spoke about it with MK on Tuesday evening and would like to raise it as an item at tonight's

meeting.

Kengo, if George is off sick please call me so that I can relay the option for testing — 0411 793 549.

Hi Zoe, George, Kengo,

Please find attached your latest sketch SK-0036 Rev 2 with a few markups.

Regarding BOH/Education space, it has not yet been confirmed that we can go back to gridline B3, as

NSW.001.023.4523

indicated in the sketch plans.

-Would it be possible to avoid the columns at B1,Bb which are landing on the bridge link/FOH of PS2

and PS4 levels?

Thank you in advance for your feedback,
Kind regards,

Julia

Hi Hannah

We have studied the impact of removing the hung columns and bracing structure to support the back of house area on the Western side of Building B. We understand the back of house/education space has moved back to grid B3 above PS2 which has significantly helped in removing the bracing members and simplifying the design.

Please see attached sketch SK-0036 Rev 2 which shows some options for this BOH area and transfer structures.

If there are any questions please let me know.
